About

QueerTech presents QT Qonference 2026 (QTQ) — Canada’s largest 2SLGBTQI+ tech conference.

In 2026, QTQ returns to Toronto for two days of in-person programming centered on one of the most urgent questions shaping our future-

Who Gets to Trust AI?

As artificial intelligence transforms how we work, hire, build, and govern, QTQ 2026 brings together leaders, professionals, founders, investors, and community members to examine the systems behind AI—and the choices shaping its future.

This year’s theme — Power, Participation & Accountability — explores:

  • Who is building AI systems
  • Who is included in shaping them
  • Who benefits from them
  • And who is responsible when they fail

QTQ 2026 is the flagship gathering of QueerTech’s QT Inclusive AI initiative—a national effort to ensure AI is built responsibly, equitably, and with our communities in mind.

Across two days, QTQ will create space to:

  • Advance inclusive AI conversations in Canada
  • Build careers, companies, and partnerships
  • Connect talent with opportunity
  • Strengthen leadership and accountability in tech
  • Celebrate 2SLGBTQI+ impact across the innovation economy

A Unique Experience

QTQ is more than a conference—it’s where community, opportunity, and influence meet.

Over two days in Toronto, QTQ 2026 will bring together 700+ attendees from across Canada for a high-energy, high-impact experience designed to spark ideas, build connections, and drive action.

  • World-class speakers on AI, leadership, and innovation
  • Curated content tracks: Tech, Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Executive/Investor, Mental Health & Well being
  • Curriculum-based learning with practical, actionable insights
  • Career and hiring opportunities through partners
  • Founder and investor connections
  • Ask & Offer moments that turn networking into real support

A celebration of queer power in Canada’s tech ecosystem!

Mandy Potter (She/Her)
Co-Founder & Managing Partner -- company Misfit Ventures

"QueerTech significantly boosted my confidence and pushed me to rethink my business strategy in a deeper way. The expert sessions were incredibly valuable, helping me build a stronger foundation and reshape my strategic plan. I’m super grateful for the experience; it made a big difference."

QueerTech is providing a truly transformational service and community by building opportunities to connect and learn in the tech ecosystem across Canada.
Thank you QT!"

Amy (She/Her)
Career Strategist -- company UBC

"Speaking at QueerTech was more than a panel, it was a collective pulse. In a time when AI is rapidly being weaponized against our communities, QT offered a space to resist erasure, challenge techno-capitalism, and imagine ethical technologies rooted in care, access, and justice.
I’m deeply grateful to be in community with QT and I stand with their mission to reshape tech as a tool for collective liberation, not corporate extraction."

Christian Ortiz (He/Him)
CEO; CEO & Co-Founder of Justice AI of MOD Atlas Media; Justice AI

"I’ve had the great pleasure of being involved with QueerTech since 2022 and am extremely thankful for the spaces their team curates for queer folks like myself to show up, connect, and thrive. QueerTech has provided me, and countless others, with something rare and deeply meaningful: a sense of community and safety within an industry that can often feel isolating."

Isaac Cook (They/He)
National Operations Lead of Lab2Market

"The queer community truly shows up for one another. Speaking at last year’s QTQ, I left not only inspired but with a new customer who helped my company grow during a tough time (thanks, trade wars!). Queertech builds meaningful connections that uplift, empower, and remind us of the strength in community. What touched me most was seeing how this community shows up with genuine care, collaboration, and solidarity. It’s not just about networking, it’s about belonging & empowerment."
