QT Event Terms & Conditions

  1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
    1. By registering or attending any QueerTech event, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
    2. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you should not register for or attend the event.
  2. Event Registration
    1. Registration for the event is required and may be subject to a fee.
    2. All attendees must provide accurate and up-to-date information during the registration process.
    3. Registration may be limited and subject to availability.
  3. Code of Conduct
    1. All attendees are expected to abide by the QueerTech Events Code of Conduct, which promotes an inclusive, respectful, and harassment-free environment.
    2. Any violation of the Code of Conduct may result in immediate expulsion from the event without refund.
  4. Event Changes or Cancellation
    1. QueerTech reserves the right to make changes to the event program, schedule, or venue at any time.
    2. In the event of cancellation, QueerTech will make reasonable efforts to notify registered attendees and provide a refund of any registration fees paid.
    3. QueerTech shall not be liable for any expenses incurred by attendees due to changes or cancellation of the event.
  5. Photography and Recording
    1. Photography, audio recording, and video recording may take place during the event.
    2. By attending the event, you grant QueerTech the right to use your likeness, image, and voice in promotional materials without compensation or prior notice.
  6. Speakers, Sponsors, and Exhibitors
    1. Views expressed by any attendee, speaker, exhibitor or sponsor at the Event are their own.
    2. QueerTech Events shall have no liability for advice given, or views expressed, by any attendee, speaker, exhibitor or sponsor at the Event or in any material provided to attendees.
  7. Intellectual Property
    1. All intellectual property rights related to the event, including but not limited to presentations, materials, and content, are owned by QueerTech or its licensors.
    2. Attendees may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any materials obtained at the event without prior written permission from QueerTech.
  8. Limitation of Liability
    1. QueerTech shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with the event.
    2. QueerTech's liability, if any, for any claim arising out of the event shall not exceed the amount paid by the attendee as registration fees.
  9. Indemnification
    1. Attendees agree to indemnify and hold QueerTech, its officers, directors, employees, and partners harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising out of their participation in the event.
  10. Privacy
    1. QueerTech may collect and process personal information provided by attendees in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
    2. By attending the event, you consent to the collection, use, and processing of your personal information by QueerTech.
  11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
    1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Quebec.
    2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of in the province of Quebec.
  12. Severability
    1. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

By registering or attending any QueerTech event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
