Discussions will include navigating workplace/ industry challenges, future trends, continuous upskilling, and the importance of community support. This event is perfect for 2SLGBTQ+ professionals, allies, and all folx exploring the intersection of queerness and technology, from those new to tech to seasoned professionals.

ABOUT THE PANELISTS:

David Beauchemin, Director, Data & AI, Microsoft
David Beauchemin leads the Azure Data & AI specialist team for Microsoft Canada and has 25 years of experience in technology, specializing in enabling digital transformation. Before joining Microsoft, he worked at Google and other technology companies. He has a degree in Computer Science and certificates from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Stanford School of Engineering.
Deasy Helena, Operations and Recruitment Manager, iWILL 'til iRECOVER
Deasy Helena is a global learner who creates experiences for people and organizations through platforms and consulting. She has experience working in not-for-profits and startups with an impact across 100+ countries worldwide. The bottom line: She is passionate about fostering inclusive and impactful communities by using her skills to embrace new opportunities.

Mitchell Mohorovich, Senior Software Developer, Unity Technologies
Mitchell Mohorovich is a software developer with experience working at the speed of startups, and at the scale of big tech. Over the course of his career, he has launched multiple $1B+ revenue generating products, undertaken large multi-region product rollouts, and managed applied AI at scale. His current focus at Unity is building a voice and text communications moderation platform to fight toxicity in online video games.
