ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS:

Marko Savic (He/Him), VP Marketing, Welbi

Marko Savic is a serial entrepreneur. Marko was previously Founder/CEO of FunnelCake, a Revenue Operations SaaS product that sold to Varicent in 2020. Currently, Marko works as a VP Marketing at Welbi, a resident engagement AI platform for senior living communities. Marko also makes a cooking show on YouTube called Probably Worth Sharing, and recently moved to the Valley in Nova Scotia from Ontario.

Alexandra Theroux (She/Her), Director of Operations, Impact Organizations of Nova Scotia

Alexandra Theroux is a systems thinker, problem-solver, and advocate for justice-driven operations. With a passion for creating environments where people and organizations can thrive, she specializes in streamlining processes, digital transformation, and organizational design. Grounded in equity and accessibility, Alexandra believes that better systems lead to better outcomes—reducing administrative burdens, fostering collaboration, and making space for what truly matters. As Director of Operations at Impact Organizations of Nova Scotia (IONS), she leads with a people-first approach, ensuring that efficiency and impact go hand in hand. She is grateful to live and work in Mi’kma’ki, the unceded territory of the Mi’kmaw People.
