QueerTech is thrilled to announce the launch of the Certified Inclusive Tech Project, a groundbreaking initiative funded by WAGE (Women and Gender Equality Canada).
This new project is designed to empower HR and AI professionals to assess and meaningfully improve their inclusion of 2SLGBTQI+ communities in the workplace—and throughout the full lifecycle of AI design, development, and deployment.
We’re building a future where inclusion is not a checkbox, but a foundational standard in tech—and we need your help to do it.
By participating in our surveys, you can directly inform the creation of workshops, toolkits, and other inclusive resources for professionals across Canada. Your insights will guide impactful, community-driven supports that address the real needs of marginalized groups in tech spaces.
Take a moment to share your perspective:
Are you part of an organization, tech company, or community group? Here’s how you can make a difference:

The Inclusive Tech project is more than a survey, or workshop—it’s a tool for actionable solutions, community‑led insights, and real change in tech workplaces and products. By prioritizing ethical data collection and analysis, QueerTech is helping ensure the tech ecosystem is not just accessible—but affirming and empowering for 2SLGBTQI+ communities.
