Michael Argast is a cybersecurity leader with over 20 years of experience across operations, consulting, and leadership roles. He’s the Co-Founder and CEO of Kobalt.io, a cloud-focused security services firm helping organizations of all sizes make “big-budget” security accessible. Previously, Michael led global sales engineering at Sophos and directed TELUS Security Solutions. A frequent speaker and media contributor, he has presented internationally at venues such as Oxford University and Moscow InfoSec, and been featured in the New York Times and Associated Press. Deeply connected to the security community through groups like Vancouver ISACA and the Provincial Security Advisory Committee, Michael is also a proud father of three girls who loves camping, snowboarding, and travel.
