QT Leaders Nonprofit: Understanding Digital & AI Transformation in the Nonprofit Sector

Description

Cette session se déroule en anglais. Une série distincte est proposée en français. Veuillez y accéder via la page des événements. En cas de difficulté, veuillez contacter amos@queertech.org.

Artificial intelligence and digital systems are shaping the world we live in. Nonprofit organizations are having to adapt with tight constraints while continuing to serve their communities. These adaptations include, but are not limited to fundraising, communications, service delivery and data management strategies. Many organizations navigate these shifts without clear guidance, shared frameworks, or peer insight and support.

QT Leaders: Nonprofit Digital Futures is a national conversation designed to support 2SLGBTQIA+ nonprofit leaders in understanding, assessing, and managing digital transformation and AI adoption within their organizations. Through structured peer dialogue and guided discussion, participants explore emerging opportunities, risks, and governance questions.

This first session sets the stage for the series by grounding the conversation in lived leadership experience. Participants will reflect on how AI and digital tools are already influencing nonprofit work, where uncertainty exists, and what leaders need in order to move forward responsibly and strategically.

Roundtables prioritize peer learning and contextual dialogue. Leaders are invited to bring real organizational scenarios. Insights from these conversations help inform shared resources, frameworks, and case studies for the sector.

In this session, participants will explore:

✨ How AI and digital tools are currently shaping nonprofit operations and decision-making
✨ Common opportunities and challenges leaders are encountering across the sector
✨ Key considerations around digital governance, data responsibility, and community impact
✨ Questions, concerns and priorities that will inform the rest of the series
✨ Immediate takeaways to bring back to their organization and team
